Our Team

Mataia Tui Faasili (Principal)


She is our resident expert in tax law, corporate and commercial law. She is well versed in a wide variety of tax related issues, including international tax law and the application of Samoa's Double Tax Treaty. She graduated from Auckland University with LLB, and from the Sydney University Law School Tax Fellowship Program. Prior to establishing the firm, Ms Faasili worked in the Samoa Ministry for Revenue for a number of years before moving into private sector as an in-house legal counsel for a multinational telecommunications company. 

Ms Faasili's advices  international consultants working in Samoa, international companies, local companies and individuals in tax and commercial law matters. 

Steve Bryce


Law can be intimidating. As our paralegal and office manager, Steve will work directly with you to make sure you get the services you need.

Taviuni Fonoti (Solicitor)


Taviuni Fonoti  focuses on commercial and corporate law.

He holds a Master of Laws, Bachelor of Laws, Graduate Diploma of Commerce, and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Auckland (New Zealand). He is a  Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand.

Prior to joining the firm, Taviuni was employed as a Solicitor at the Virtual Law Firm in Remuera, Auckland where his practice focused on Conveyancing, Trusts, Wills and Estates.

Taviuni also has 13 years Auditing and Accounting experience working at the Audit Office (Government of Samoa) and also private accounting firms. He  volunteers his skills and experience to assist church communities.
